Seeking assistance on FF to apply multiple bridging rules for V3 Seniority Dates

edited Apr 28, 2023 2:27PM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Summary:

We have the requirement for Enterprise Seniority Dates to apply two rule, one for rehire within a year, and one for rehire within 5 years. My FF works for some employees, but does not function as expected for employees with multiple rehire dates.

Content (required):

One year rule: Retain previous seniority date if rehired within 364 days. Rehire on day 365 reverts to five year rule.

Five year rule: Retain previous seniority LESS the time gone.

Enterprise Rule Configuration: Employees only, Noncumulative, Person Level

I based this FF on the example provided in the oracle document "Calculating Seniority Dates Using Fast Formula" but also heavily modified to account for the multiple rules.

Howdy, Stranger!
