ASO Logical vs Physical Clear

I have some questions about how we use our ASO clears, and if switching from Physical to Logical clears will cause us any problems.

Every night, we clear various slices of data in our ASO cubes (for Actuals and Plans). We then load Actuals, update our Plans with the actuals, export the BSO data, and import it into the ASO cube. Up until recently, our clears were all set as Physical. However, due to performance issues with our ASO cube, we needed to create aggregations. And when we did that, our clear cube jobs (we have 11) went from 3 - 4 minutes to 10 - 12 minutes each. This is an unacceptable increase in overnight processing time. After research, we decided to try
