National Identifier number duplicate check for a custom NID type

Summary:

National Identifier number duplicate check for a custom NID type

Content (required):

When a user enters a National Identifier number for a given country using a “custom” NID type and repeats the same number for a different person, the system checks it for duplication and generates an error message based upon Enterprise HCM Information task settings. Can this error be avoided for a custom NID type using any sort of configuration? There is something that the customer wanted to implement using it and has a question if it is at all feasible within the system under this National Identifier section.

Howdy, Stranger!
