Accrual Plan Balance Transfer with Different Units of Measure

Using Accrual Plan transfer rules to transfer balance when losing eligibility from one plan to another where the plans have different units of measure.

Content (required):

As an example, there are two accrual plans defined, one plan is based on a unit of measure of Days and one plan is based on a unit of measure of Hours.

Using the standard functionality of adding both accrual plans to the same plan category or using the Target Plan Formula works fine when a worker is no longer eligible for one plan and is transferred to the other.

The issue is the conversion factor from one plan to the other where they have different units of measure.
