We had defined escalation rule. Please refer the attached image. We want to understand with that setting, if the approval is pending with a data role, where multiple users are mapped to it. If non of the user claim the transaction, to whose manager escalation will be routed to?
For example, the approval is waiting for 'HR Specialist' role, where multiple users are associated. Also the users have different reporting hierarchy. To which line manager will the escalation notification will go? Please advise.
