Understanding BI Extender and Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions for Transactional Business ess jo

Summary:

Hi Team,

When using the columns of Entity(Balancing Segments) individually using balances real time subject area, it is generating correct result. However, when using the segments in report with fact columns, it is giving wrong(parent value) for lowest levels of entity code.

We were suggested on <SR 3-32888251631> to run the below program, post which issue was resolved:

1. Create Rules XML File for BI Extender Automation

2. Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions for Transactional Business

Please advise on below points:

1. What type of segments changes requires to run the above mentioned ESS jobs? 

2. If the changes are done in different GL segment, will the rest other GL segments will also be impacted in OTBI Report if above program is not run?
