How to remove components from Item structure using FBDI

Hi

We have BOMs with hundreds of item and we need to remove some items. is it possible to do with FBDI. We have Create, Update and Sync options in Item Structure Import template. Not sure if the same template to be used to remove some items. Any guidance is appreciated.
