Getting an error upon calling an application module JS function from a page module

Content (required):

Hi, I am getting an error upon calling an application module action chain which runs application module JS function from a page in the application:  

"The module does not exist or the function 'myFunc' does not exist in the module for Page 'myPage-start'."

The quick solution I found is simply copy the function to the page module, but it dosen's seems to be the best solution.
