Not able to create new location

Content (required):

Steps followed: 

1.Went to manage locations setup task

2. entered relevant attributes to create a new location (set: common set)

3. Saved and submitted

Expected outcome: new location should be created and should be visible

Outcome observed: Not able to see the newly created location when we search for it in manage location task.

Please help us in resolving the issue as we cannot move forward with procurement transactions or other setups without location.
