How to convert a beneficiary(contact) to worker via REST API?

Summary:

We have cases where beneficiary of an employee joins the company but our worker api fails to create the worker as the person record is already there: This worker wasn't created because another person appears to already exist based on your enterprise validation settings. (PER-1531837) Details: The duplicate person identified by the number [PersonNumber] has duplicate values for the following attributes: Last Name,Full First Name,Date of Birth,Gender or National ID. Either update this worker's details so there is no longer a conflicting duplicate, or create a new work relationship for the existing person. There is no REST API to convert
