Reimplementation of HCM Cloud in a new tenancy

We have a client who will separate from its parent and setup it's own HCM Cloud instance in a new tenancy.

What we will do is reconfigure all the HCM modules again for this client as-is but we will not configure anything related to the parent organisation.

In summary;

  • We will reconfigure all the HCM modules specific to the client. (As-Is but excluding parent organisations configurations)
  • Migrate all the data specific to the client.
  • Migrate reports.
  • Migrate integrations and possibly make changes to enable for the new HCM instance.

Can someone provide some learnings from this type of a situation and recommendations on the best practices ? These can be best practices around :
