Business requirement: Is it possible in Oracle fusion PPM to have project resource requests that become past due automatically closed or the resource finish date moved out?

Currently, past due project resource requests are not closed automatically irrespective of project status including CLOSED status

Content (required):

Currently, past due project resource requests are not closed automatically irrespective of project status including CLOSED status, and resource finish date not moved out automatically inline with task/project dates. Therefore, business users have to cancel/delete/adjust finish date manually for the past due resource requests using 'Manage project resource requests' page. This is tedious process consuming lot of manual efforts.
