Oracle Fusion Increasing Currencies Precision Impact

Summary:

We are implementing Oracle Fusion Applications: Purchasing, Payables, Expense Management, General Ledger and Accounting HUB modules. We have multiple ledgers in our architecture, primary and reporting.

Due to finanncial transactions in multiple currencies, different exchange rates and transactions with small amounts we have rounding differences calculated by the system.

We want to increase currency precision to six digits for all standard currencies in Oracle Fusion environment.

We do not have yet data in production environment.

We want to understand what are the implication of such configuration for all modules and data.

If we will have errror due to create accounting processes, transfers to reporting ledgers, posting to gl or to essbase cub.
