How to send custom alert to Manager's Manager when the employees having overdue required assignments

Is it possible to include a leaders leader in the past due notifications/alerts for required learning.

Basically we need to include manager's manager username in alert recipients. If any body already used that manager's manager recipient parameter in learning custom alert, please share that will be very helpful.
