When we change payroll definition. How to pay employees for partial days in Payperiod

Payroll definition: PR1 ----APR 20 to May 21 2023
May21 to June 20 2023
1.Currently our payroll period is from 21st to 20th of next period.(say PR1)
2.Now business wants to change it to 1st to 30/31st. (PR2)
eg: we will be changing payroll relationship of employees from 1st of june to new definition(PR2).
How to Pay employees for 10 days May 21st to May 31st using Fusion HCM Payroll.
I have tried Running payroll with PR1 for May (which starts from May21st to June 20th).even though PR1 in payroll relationship page ends with 31st of may.Quick pay is paying for whole month.(i.e upto june 20th)
