How can we make the Accounting Date in AR transaction read only or not editable (with system date)?

Is it possible to make the Accounting Date in AR transaction non editable or read-only?

I found an oracle document , but it is a page personalization, we are looking for another solution if there is other way to make the Accounting date (with system date as always default) not editable. (if applicable per Business Unit)
