Removed Activity but it is still reflected in the Progress

An activity was removed from an offering, but it is still showing in all learners' progress

Content (required):

An activity was removed from an existing offering; making the offering 2 activities. When learners go in to complete the offering, it is showing progress as 2/3 with no other items to complete. How can we fix this.
