Expenditure Types not showing, while creating PO and ADFDI in projects

Summary:

Hi Experts,

We have defined two different reference data sets, Capital and Marketing, and we have two project units(Capital and Marketing), we want to segregate project creation, class categories and expenditure types based on the data sets.

But, when we were creating PO, we could not see the expenditure types in lov, which was referencing to either Capital or Marketing data set. Then we added COMMON data set, then we were able to select the expenditure types, while creating PO or ADFDI (Create Non labor) transactions.

Did we miss any setup or update ?, Is expenditure type works only for COMMON data set ? Need your advice ?
