What all HCM functionality can be used if we don't have HCM Module?

Summary: Our Client doesn't have HCM Module in place, so I want to know what HCM functionalities our client can use if we don't have HCM Module.

In another way, what features we can use if have only HCM Co-Existence?

Will there be any impact on the user licenses if we configure job, position and supervisor hierarchy approvals in Financials, SCM and Projects Modules?
