FYI notification to the line manager of new hire when employee is hired

Summary:

When employee is hired in the system the FYI Notification should trigger to his line manager.

Approval Flow for new hire= Position Hierarchy : HR Manager

When HR Manager approves the transaction the FYI Notification should trigger to his(new hires) line manager.

we used Management hierarchy for this FYI notification. please find attached screenshot. It is not working and transaction is erroring out.
