Editable Automatic Table of Contents / Disable doclets from appearing in TOC

Summary:

We are having some challenges properly configuring a report package so that the Automatic Table of Contents displays the desired results. I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help with - if not, they may become enhancement requests

  1. Is there a way to edit the "output" of the Automatic TOC? If you open the TOC doclet in smartview, you can only edit the properties of the TOC. Previewing the report package allows you to view how the TOC will actually look. Client would like the ability to edit what appears in the preview (doubt this is currently possible but wanted to check.)
