Dark Mode

Summary:

Why isn't there support for dark mode?

Content (required):

Most applications provide support for dark mode these days.

On the web, some sites do some don't, but there are browser plugins that force dark mode. However, those plugins require access to the full content of the pages you are viewing, which isn't great given the nature of an HCM application and they can cause display issues at times.

How are users working around this currently? If it really is an issue I'm happy to raise an Idea for it.

If I was going to raise an idea, I would suggest Oracle build in the ability to define a light mode theme and a dark mode theme, so that users can select which one they want to use. Organisations quite rightly expect to use their corporate colour schemes in HCM, so they should have the facility to control this in both a light and dark mode.
