How to change enterprise hire date after the employee has been globally transferred

Hi there!
We are looking at a scenario where enterprise hire date needs to be corrected but the employee has been globally transferred. So, in this case, changing the legal entity hire date will not change the enterprise hire date. The previous work relationship was terminated as part of global transfer.
Kindly let me know if there is a workaround either through front end or backend.
