REST API to get schedule ship date and quantity available

  1. We would like to understand which REST API we would need to use for GOP to get the schedule ship date and quantity available in requested date.

  1. Why is it a POST and not GET? We would like as parameters to enter item number, perhaps inventory organization and request date and we would like to get the quantity available for that date as well as schedule ship date.
  2. What is the difference between "Quick Availability Check" API and "Check availability API"?
