Main tasks performed by different supplier portal job roles


Supplier Portal provides the application platform where user with different seeded job roles can perform various tasks.  Here is a summary of the seeded supplier user job roles as well as the tasks each can perform:

  • Supplier Accounts Receivable Specialist: performs tasks related to invoices and payments.  Task examples: Create Invoice, View Payments
  • Supplier Bidder: performs tasks related to negotiations and deliverables. Task example: View Active Negotiations, Manage Responses
  • Supplier Customer Service Representative: performs tasks related to orders and shipments.  Task examples: Manage Orders, Create ASN 
  • Supplier Demand Planner: performs tasks related to supply plan, such as order forecasts and commits.  Task example:  Manage Order Forecasts and Commits
