Is there a way to extract all the approval rules across all the process types (termination, promotion, transfer etc.) ?

It becomes helpful if one needs to find any specific usage of a particular object across rule e.g. if there are any rules which check for employee position value , one needs to go through them manually as of now, but if there is any better extraction facility - it will help to search easily and with no human /manual errors.
