How to update FA lease with a new Recurring Payment Amount on Periodic Lease payment?

Summary:

On Manage Assets (Fixed Assets -> Assets -> Tasks -> Manage Lease), we want to update a Lease with a Recurring Payment. The Payment Type is 'Periodic lease payment'.

A new Amount value needs to be added. Kindly guide us to update the lease amount.

On Manage Assets (Fixed Assets -> Assets -> Tasks -> Manage Lease), we want to update a Lease with a Recurring Payment. A new Amount value needs to be added.

The lease amount has been updated but upon clicking on Generate Schedule button to save, we get the error 'The date for the attribute Transaction Date must be within the current open period. (FA-645734)'. The current GL period is open.
