Global HR - Search shows double results

When searching for a person via Person Number or Name the result is double, see attachment.
Content (required):
The person in question only has one assignment and has never been hired by us before. When searching for her the result shows her assignment twice. Any idea on what could be the problem? When we choose either of them and make an assignment change the change is shown in both.
I suspect the search is somehow getting the same result from two ways. Is there a way to ensure that the person is only shown once?
This causes confusion and insecurity in our Admins who question which result to use.
