Howto call an OIC integration for ESS

Summary:

We want to invokde an OIC integration from the ERP

We have found this:

We create a SOAP integration

We define it as a data source for the OTBI

We build a report over it

We Define a job for this report

We call the job

it is working - but it is complex.

Is there another way to call OIC (or other web services) from the Fusion ?
