How to prevent the resetting of the Price Book Entry List Price to $0 ?

Summary:

There exists a parts integration called “Export Price Book Entries” (ID: _partner_price_book_entry_id) that is creating a Price Book Entry record in SFDC for newly-created SFDC Product records created by the “Export Parts” integration (ID: _partner_part_id) with a value for the List Price field (API Name: “UnitPrice”) of $0.00. The “Export Price Book Entries” integration also apparently updates existing Price Book Entry records in SFDC for existing SFDC Product records which is setting the List Price field to $0.00.
