Prevent Filling of Business Title when Hiring

Summary:

We are currently facing the issue that the business title gets overwritten by the job name, whenever we hire someone or change the assignment etc. However, we would like for the field to stay blank. We cannot prevent the sync in manage enterprise hcm information, as their is no field:

Business Title seems to be controlled entirely by the profile option. It is set to R, and the other options defaulting from job or position do not make sense for us.

Question: is there a way to disable this profile option entirely? Or is there another way that will help us achieve the prevention of the automated filling of the business title?
