How to invoke Absence REST API from third party application using SSO credentials

Content (required):

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement where we are trying to invoke absence REST API through third party application like ServiceNow .

But we are not able to pass the logged in user credentials (SSO enabled) to the API.

Could you please let us know , how can we pass the user credentials to REST API. So that the transaction inititaed through API is as such employee initiated.

Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks,

Kavi
