Exlude project transfer order issues from data (shipments) collection

How to exclude project issues from data collection

Content (required):

At my customer site the central warehouse organization is supplying a service organization with project and common stock via transfer orders shipments.

We are collecting these shipments via data collection of transfer order issues. 

As we only want to create a statistical forecast for the common stock, we need to exclude the project issues from this collection.

Does anyone know if we can exclude these project shipments from the data collection via standard functionality or that we need to create an extension, replacing the data collection for shipments collection?
