Asset Changes Last Update Date

Is there a specific table that shows a last update date for any asset changes?

We are trying to pull data for an integration for any changes that occur with an asset. Ex. With an existing asset, I added a a new invoice, but the last_update_date in the FA_ASSET_HISTORY or FA_ADDITIONS_B didn't reflect the date that I processed. But I did see it on the FA_BOOKS last_update_date, because the cost was updated. If I change my query to look at FA_BOOKS, but I make a change to manufacturer, now the last_update_date doesn't reflect that change.
