Automated Regression Testing in Fusion Cloud

Summary:

Each month we perform regression tests - especially in a month when the 1/4ly release patch is be applied - which covers much of the business's standard processes in Fusion to identify any issues caused by a in-flight change or the 1/4ly patch new features. How do others handle the task of regression testing?

We have some automation created in-house however it feels like there must be a more general and easier approach - given most organisations must be performing this monthly too - how do you handle it: manual, automated?? Is there any recommended approach, software, etc.. ??
