Data Transfer in Data Grid is not working

Content (required):

We enabled data transfer options(cut copy paste) in data grid and trying to add a custom event on-oj-cut-request. This event is not working. We tried adding action chains and calling functions on this event. But nothing is working. Do we need to enable anything else for data transfer to work? Also is there a VBCS cook book recipe available for data transfer?
