Summary

Should Positions be 1 to 1, one employee to one position or multiple employees to one position

Content

Good Day,

What is best practice for positions in Oracle HCM Cloud, is it 1 to 1, one employee to one position or multiple employees to one position?  Traditionally I have always heard and practiced implementing positions 1 to 1 but recently someone indicated that best practice for Oracle HCM Cloud is one position to many employees.   I have reviewed Cloud documentation and My Oracle Support, but nothing directly answers what is best practice for Oracle Cloud HCM Position Management.

Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thank you for your time.

Howdy, Stranger!
