Don't understand what Information Type and Information Category are

Hi all,
When I try to load the HDL file- Worker Extra Information
I need to define Information Type and Information Category.
What should I provide in these attributes?
My other question is more general- *how* should I know what to provide in these attributes? As far as I check those are not the name of the field when I define them in the Flexfied UI screen. These attributes are not found in the BI report.
Should I check what the table includes Worker Extra Information and then run a query about it?
