Procurement Category Hierarchy fields blank in Procurement - Purchasing Real Time OTBI subject area

Summary:

In our Functional Area Catalog, we have updated categories so some categories are end dated as we no longer want them used on new requisitions/purchase orders. When using the Procurement - Purchasing Real Time OTBI subject area, the Procurement Category Hierarchy Level 1 and Procurement Category Hierarchy Level 2 fields are blank when the category has been end dated. Those two fields are populated when the category is not end dated. Why don't the Hierarchy Level 1 and Level 2 fields populate in OTBI subject area for the end dated categories?
