Performing Calcs on the Fly EPBCS - Does it work with standard data forms in the system?

Summary:

I have been looking at the documentation around performing calcs on the fly - when I stood this up in our test environment, it appears to only work on ad hoc grids. I took a current form that end users use, exported to Smartview, and then converted to adhoc analysis.

I am looking to see if this same functionality can appear on standard data forms (though navigation page) that would allows end users to leverage this on a structured form. Is that possible?

I think it would be valuable to have this same type of logic appear on standard forms that end users cannot manipulate. This would allow them to play around with data a bit more before always having to hit save
