Is it possible to have automate Open/Closing of Approval period?

Summary:

If you are in the situation of having to open periods back in time in order to recompute ownership and copy ownership you open period by period back in time.


Can this be automated so it will be a lot faster than manually doing it?


And of course afterwards closing the periods again month by month ?


I dont see an EPM Automate command for this so wonder how it can be done.
