Can we request an item movement from one inventory organization to another inventory organization?

Fusion Cloud - Inventory

I have two Intentory Orgs in my Cloud environment. My Maintenance team requests items in their Work Orders from the Maintenance Inventory Org., however, if that org has 0 qty. for an item, they need to request it from the Mainstore Inventory Org.. This request process is currently happening through a piece of paper with the required item number and qty., is it possible to have that request between these two Inventory Orgs through the system?
