Advice sought on recommended methods to secure attachments on email notifications-HDL/OIC error logs
Summary:
We currently have a number of error notifications triggering from our outbound and inbound integrations. What we are trying to establish is what 'best practice' methods are being used in order to secure these attachments that require little/no maintenance
Content (required):
Different recipients per type of integration and/ or country.
Options we have explored:
- Obfuscation is an option for our BI reports, were we leave the EE number and data field with the error. As this does not contain sensitive data, but enough for the recipient to go into HCM and correct the data.
- HDL, OIC collecting the errors and sending the report. We have been told this a 'standard' report we could have an issue with the 'data' contained within it. Therefore we would not want this being circulated via email unless additional security measures were added.
