Can we load numbers into EPM with excel formulas

We would like to know if there would be any issues if they load numbers this way and any suggestions or settings to be used if they are loading numbers using formulas.? Appreciate your inputs and help.

At this point of time our stakeholders are asking can we put excel formulas into dataforms to load numbers, if the answer is Yes it should work, then they would start to put formulas on saved dataforms in excel and share internally and use them for submission, if we have known bugs or epm does not support and also from support stand point any suggestion based on various customer issues, which had to be followed so that we can share them with users. If we know any defects why would we would anyone want to invest time in creating formulas
