How can Fixed Choice Lists (FCLs) be made available in the Form Layouts as Select Single?

I have created a Fixed Choice List in Application Composer and trying to use this in a form layout component in VB Studio.

Fixed Choice List values are not displayed in the form layout component. The field is taking the default text type because there is no option for a single select or component box to display the fixed choice list values.
