Can position valid grade be synced with the corresponding job valid grade?

Summary: HR updated many job valid grades recently. They expected to see corresponding position valid grades update with the new job grade. The position valid grade was not updated. Does this functionality currently exist, and if so, how would one enable it so that we don't have to update job grades and all corresponding positions? I do know about the Validation to Match Position Valid Grade with Job Valid Grade profile option but this just seems to be validation when creating or changing positions. We are interested if there is any type of sync functionality
