Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes” process creates a new user and updates an existing userContent
Hi,
Something very strange happening in R13. Here's the situation:
On the security console (Administration), user id Generation Rule is setup as “E-Mail”.We are loading new hire employees into Oracle HCM(shared) using interface. We are sending primaryWorkEmail as eg: "a.b@dimensional.com.au"
and user name as a.b@dimensional.com.
Which is creating an employee record with primaryWorkEmail as "a.b@dimensional.com.au" and user account as "a.b@dimensional.com"
When we ran the “Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes”, a new account was created with the "a.b@dimensional.com.au" username and the person information was moved from the "a.b@dimensional.com" account to the new account.
