Can you update a Prospective Supplier registration request pending approvals via APIs?

Is it possible to edit via APIs a Prospective Supplier registration request pending approval?

The scenario is as follows:

1. Registration Form is filled in.
2. Registration Form is sent for approval.
3. Integration with third-party is triggered to validate the Supplier details.
4. Validation responses are sent back to Oracle Cloud - can we use APIs to update the pending Registration Form whilst it is still pending approval? Basically, the approval process should only continue if the third-party systems have validated the Supplier request.

In the proposed design, we included this integration after the Prospective Supplier is approved. However, the client wants to bring it forward as much as possible. Given that the data entered on the Registration Form does exist in POZ_SUPPLIER_REGISTRATIONS, POZ_ADDRESS_REQUESTS, etc., I am wondering if we can amend it via APIs - or even via any other means.
