When a Course Is Accessed from Specialization, Let Specialization Control Access and Visibility

Hi there, I want to be sure what the implications are of this option ticked in the "Manage Default Access" options on a course level.
We have a Specialisation with 10 courses.
The Specialisation has
- Details View in the View Mode
- None in the Enrollment settings
The 10 courses have
- Details View in the View Mode
- Active in the Enrollment settings
We want people to be able to enroll themselves in these courses independently from the Specialisation. The courses must be visible and open.
The tickbox "When a Course Is Accessed from Specialization, Let Specialization Control Access and Visibility" in all the courses is not ticked.
