Has anyone set up the API for Qualtrics? Or is there any news on an Integration?

We have been using Qualtrics for over a year and its a pain to send emails through their system. MY developer tried to set up the API, but said it wasn't worth it. Has someone set up the API?

Also there are a lot of posts from years past about a possible integration, is this ever happening?
